THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE 13
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO EPHESIANS 1

‘In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace’ – Ephesians 1:7.

*WEEK 13:
The riches of His grace is the total restoration of the glory that mankind lost as a result of sin– vv. 4-7.

The Spirit of wisdom, revelation in the knowledge of Christ, spiritual enlightenment, spiritual empowerment and thanksgiving are the keys to identifying and maximizing the fullness of the riches of His grace - vv.7, 15-23.

The riches of His grace is the embodiment of the totality of all the blessings in Heaven that have been designed to benefit the saints – vv. 3, 7, 18-22.

One of the primary purposes of the riches of His grace is empower the saints to live in holiness and love – vv. 4-7, 15.

The riches of His grace are the blessings poured from Heaven into the saints through Jesus Christ-vv.3, 7, 20-23.

The riches of His grace is the basis for the blessedness of the saints in the heavenly places– vv. 3,7,12, 14-15, 20-23.

The riches of His grace evince God’s grace and peace upon the saints –v2, 6-7.

THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE 12
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO EPHESIANS 1

‘In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace’ – Ephesians 1:7.

*WEEK 12:

The joint-heir status of the saints with Christ was predestined by God and has been redeemed and preserved by the riches of His grace – vv. 7, 13-14.


Blessing and thanking God are tokens of appreciation to God for given the saints access to the riches of His grace - vv. 3, 7, 15-18.


We are obliged to bless and thank God because He has blessed us with the riches of His grace – vv. 3-7, 15-22.


Sin is a blockade to accessing the riches of His grace – vv. 6-7, 13-14, 19-22.


God’s blessings include His acceptance of the saints in Christ and their participation in the riches of His grace -vv.3-7, 11-14, 18, 22.


Jesus Christ is the limit to both the riches of His grace and the spiritual blessings of the saints– vv. 3, 5, 5,7,10, 12-13, 20-23.


The blood of Jesus is the conduit for redemption and the reference-point for accessing the riches of His grace –v. 7.

THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE 11
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO EPHESIANS 1

‘In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace’ – Ephesians 1:7.

*WEEK 11:

Jesus Christ is the conduit of the riches of His grace and glory because He is the head over all things to the church - vv. 6-7, 12, 22-23.


The purpose of the inheritance of the saints in the riches of His grace is to give God praise and glory –vv. 6-7, 12, 14, 18.


The riches of His grace is glorious – vv. 6-7, 12, 14, 18.


The riches of His grace, which includes grace and peace, are accessible only by the saints – vv. 2-8, 15-19.


God has revealed the riches of His grace to the saints according to His good pleasure -vv.7-9.


The riches of His grace includes the exceeding greatness of His power to the saints, according to the working of His mighty power– vv. 7, 19-23.


The riches of His grace and glory have put all things under the feet of the saints –vv. 3-4, 7, 18-23; Psa. 8:4-8; Heb. 2:4-8.

THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE 10
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO EPHESIANS 1

‘In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace’ – Ephesians 1:7.

*WEEK 10:

One of the ultimate aims of the riches of His grace is to cause its beneficiaries to live as adopted sons of God - vv. 5-7.


The riches of His grace has revealed to us the mystery of God’s will–vv. 5, 7, 9.


The mystery of God will (now revealed) is to make all saints His adopted sons so that we can share in the riches of His grace – vv. 4-18.


Our acceptance in Christ by God is one of the products of the riches of His grace – vv. 6-7, 13-14.


There are no other forms of redemption and forgiveness aside from those in the riches of His grace -vv.7.


Forgiveness of our sins is central to redemption our through the blood of Jesus according to the riches of His grace – vv. 7.


The Holy Spirit is the guarantor to the accessing of the riches of His grace by the saints –vv. 7, 13-14, 18.
