THE FOUNDATION OF REAL GREAT NATIONS - JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS SERIES - 1

THE FOUNDATION OF REAL GREAT NATIONS
JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS SERIES - 1

The foundation of real great nations is righteousness and justice

Righteousness truly exalts a nation but it takes justice to preserve and enhance its greatness

Legal technicalities that breed injustice are enemies to justice

Justice is superior to prayers and sacrifices

Lawyers and judges who contribute to injustices are silent tyrants to their nations

The laws of every real great nation are pivoted on righteousness and justice

The evils in most nations are attributable to the fact that evil persons are successfully perverting and squeezing the axles of righteousness and justice

Justice likewise righteousness can never be bought although it may be perverted

Righteousness is usually inward but justice is always outward

Rightness and justness are the doctrines of righteousness and justice

Unshakable kingdoms are founded on righteousness and justice

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN – Daily Light Series 3

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN
– Daily Light Series 3

Most times, God allows us to wallow in our foolishness so that the difficulties that spring from it will trade off our ignorance and misconceptions of Him.

The most ignorant, foolish and pitiable people on earth are those who depend on their material wealth to measure their worth. Real wise people always know that their worth must depend on godly virtues (emanating from their relationship with Jesus),  not on toys such as academic laurels, cars, houses, clothes, titles, and electronic devices.

Antidote to divorce is striving to have an agreeing (consenting) relationship with your spouse.

A comforter (helper) is a great blessing to an afflicted person.

Almost all persons who approached Jesus during His earthly ministry sought from Him solutions to their problems. Jesus never turned His back on any of them but always offered them the solutions they needed. Could this be said of you?

Spiritual pride is one of the tempting strategies of the devil.

We must pay more attention to character than to appearance (dressing). Good appearance is godly and great but character is more important. There is no suitable substitute for it.

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN–Daily Light Series 2

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN
– Daily Light Series 2

I wonder why some people are so concerned about my past.
Perhaps, they do not know that I no longer live there.

Our wrong perceptions about God mostly reveal our true nature.

Aside from God, you’re the next commander-in-chief of your life.

Jesus always draws closer to us while we’re thinking about Him.

 Inevitable suffering leads to glory.

Taking the Holy Communion in the right way makes its partaker to have a better perspective of Jesus.

Faithfulness and perseverance are the keys to receiving supernatural anointing.

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN
– Daily Light Series 1

Impossibility simply means it has not been done before, not that it can never be done. It is indeed an   unexplored possibility.

Unless a person has come to the realization that that person can do something, that person can never discover why, how, and when to do it.

A real law, technically speaking, can never defile real and sound moral principles.

The fact that it is difficult to do the right things in our so-called modern civilized society does not mean we should not do them. Truly, doing them brings us lasting satisfaction and leave society with an exemplary legacy. Indeed, we must never stop doing the right things in life.

I respect people who make mistakes because they were determined to execute their convictions than lazy and timid ‘saints’.

Failure is an opinion. You choose to make it a reality or defy it!

The chief purpose of temptation is to separate a person from God.

THE HERO IN MARTIN AMIDU

THE HERO IN MARTIN AMIDU

Real heroes are both sacrificial and selfless

Real heroes are worth celebrating both in their lifetime and after their passage. They must be celebrated primarily because of their pace-setting examples and positive achievements. Mr. Martin A.B.K Amidu, a former Attorney-General of the Republic of Ghana, is undeniably a real hero who must be celebrated. Mr. Amidu has doubtlessly demonstrated that he is a sacrificial and selfless fighter!

The greatest need of Ghana and Africa in general, today, is honest leaders. Honest leaders are sacrificial, selfless and principled. They are usually more than willing to sacrifice their comfort for the general good of humankind. They are also selfless because they are always motivated by the comfort of the public rather than themselves, family members and cronies. More importantly, honest leaders always allow their good conscience and godly life principles to dictate their sense of direction. Jesus Christ, Kwame Nkrumah, Martin Luther Jnr., and Nelson Mandela, just to mention a few, are examples of honest leaders. Admirably, Mr. Martin Amidu has by his deeds entered the throne room of these great personalities and his admission has been approved and sealed. Ayekoo! Mr. Martin Amidu.

We can draw three (3) key lessons from the real heroic deeds of Mr. Amidu. Firstly, he is a functional leader. Functional leaders, unlike positional leaders, are not obsessed with titles and positions but always endeavour to achieve the demands of their entrusted office. Mr. Amidu did not compromise the responsibility of a Minister of Attorney-General and Justice. Besides, he has demonstrated that leadership (or say being an Attorney-General) is more than an official title. Although he was fired from office by his own buddies, for reasons best known to them, Mr. Amidu has undauntedly demonstrated that official position without more does not guarantee any good thing. Secondly, Mr. Amidu is a real partisan politician. Real partisan politicians know that politics without principles destroy a nation. Besides, they always allow good conscience and life principles to override their political loyalty to any so-called party discipline (interest). To them, the interests of their nations supersede the agenda of their affiliated political parties. Mr. Amidu, being a real hero, chose to serve the interest of Ghana than to sacrifice it for political expediency. Lastly, Mr. Amidu’s actions were pivoted on selflessness and sacrifice. How many so-called African leaders will champion a cause that will deplete their pockets? How many so-called political leaders in Ghana are ready to sacrifice their stomach, so-called reputation and political office for the benefit of Ghanaians? Mr. Martin Amidu is a living testimony to all of us.
