SHOWERS OF HEAVEN – Daily Light Series 13

SHOWERS OF HEAVEN
Daily Light Series 13

A human being can wrestle with spiritual agents or forces and prevail over them

Sound wisdom always goes with understanding

I agree with the statement that “a church grows (advances) at the pace of its weakest member, not the strongest.”

Honourable people are not immune to behaving dishourably

Grace is usually demonstrated through kindness

Righteousness is a shield

Right friendship enhances a person’s righteousness and vice versa.

THE ONE CEDI POLICING IN GHANA

THE ONE CEDI POLICING IN GHANA

Richard Obeng Mensah

Corruption is a mocker
Corruption is rude
Corruption steals, kills and destroys
Corruption usually uses established state institutions such as the Police Service to execute its vicious devices

Corruption usually uses money to achieve its goals
It uses money to weaken the strength of an established system
Corruption uses money to silence some eminent officials such as the police
It uses money to reduce the value of some police officers to bread
Corruption uses money to make some police officers forget their vital role

The primary role of the Ghana Police Service is to protect life and property
The service is for instance mandated to enforce road traffic regulations
Enforcing road traffic regulations secure life and property of the populace
Corruption is, however, silently making nonsense of this vital role
Corruption is using money to buy the loyalty and integrity of some police officers

Some police officers on the highways have giving in to corrupt tendencies
The value of some police officers patrolling the roads has been reduced to
just One Ghana Cedi
Road traffic offenders have learnt this language of corruption
Road traffic offenders know that once they are able to give One Ghana Cedi
to some police officers on the road their offences would be ignored
Life and property are being sacrificed for just One Ghana Cedi!

THE LANGUAGE OF CORRUPTION

THE LANGUAGE OF CORRUPTION

Richard Obeng Mensah

Corruption is contagious
Corrupt communication corrupts good manners
Corruption is fluent in all earthly languages
Corruption is eloquent
Corruption speaks through people

Corrupt communications are usually oral
Its oral communications usually contradict an accepted standard
When corruption speaks, it coerces people to do its bidding
When corruption speaks, it usually gives ultimatums
Corruption usually speaks through dishonest leaders

Corrupt statements are usually contradictory
Corruption says what you need takes time but you can get it now or within a short period if you reward  its extra efforts
Corruption says what you need is officially not expensive but you can get an excellent service if you pay some unauthorized fees
Corruption says it is difficult, quite frustrating or impossible to get what you need but you easily get it by motivating its employees and agents

Corruption is weakened when you refuse to respond to its expressions
Corruption is silenced when you insist on the accepted standards
Corruption is defeated if you remain tenacious in your resistance.
