WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 16

WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 16
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO WISDOM PATHS

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment (understanding)” – Proverbs 4:7 (NLT).

*WEEK 16:

Trust and patience exude strength.

Diligence has better rewards than hard work.

Consistency is a communicator of diligence, faith and loyalty.

Patient endurance is one of the fastest routes to attaining your vision.

It takes wisdom to discern when to still wait for something or get rid of it if that thing is currently not working.

Loving and diligent obedience to God’s commandment is a heavenly visa to inheriting your untapped blessings.

Hard work in most contexts is a form of laziness, and a sign of inferiority complex or depression.

WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 15
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO WISDOM PATHS

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment (understanding)” – Proverbs 4:7 (NLT).

*WEEK 15:

Work is a primary means to meet the needs of other people.

Education is not the key to holistic development; righteousness does the job.

There is no need answering questions from people with ulterior motives or people seeking to have dishonest dealings with you.

Dishonest questions are fashioned to create problems for persons who answer them.

A person’s wrong perception about God will hinder that person’s relationship with Him.

A mere desire for something without relevant corresponding action to realize it leads to disappointment.

It is easier to love our enemies when we discover God’s purpose connected to their activities or attitudes.

WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 14
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO WISDOM PATHS

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment (understanding)” – Proverbs 4:7 (NLT).

*WEEK 14:

Compassion goes with generosity.

Our God-given blessings are usually connected to our paternal roots.

Anything God instructs us to do is achievable through wilful obedience.

Prayers and fasting are conditional precedents for overcoming certain situations in life.

Although vengeance belongs to God, He may sometimes permit us to revenge our enemies.

Failing or refusing to take positive steps to possess a person’s God-given blessings is sinful.

One key feature of satanic schemes is that they are not mindful of the things of God but that of the world.

THE MOCKERY AND NONSENSE OF GALAMSEY IN GHANA

THE MOCKERY AND NONSENSE OF GALAMSEY IN GHANA

Galamsey is a popular name for illegal small scale mining in Ghana
Notorious Galamsey has openly operated in Ghana for decades
Although illegal, Galamsey comfortably connives and fraternizes with some selfish traditional leaders, greedy politicians and desperate local folks
Its chief beneficiaries are foreigners
Its current and future victims are related communities, Ghana and her unborn generations.

Galamsey continues to steal billions of Cedis from Ghana
It continues to destroy its vast agricultural lands
It is polluting and emptying her water bodies
If not tamed, Ghana will be importing water in the next decades
The related communities are becoming inhabitable because of its harmful operations
Its daily drinking spree with rapacious and narcissistic chiefs and politicians is still rocking
Its acceptance and tolerance level in palaces and political parlours is galloping
Like corruption, it is making its participants suddenly wealthy while assassinating its victims
The unborn generations of Gold Coast Ghana are shocked at the lukewarm and selfish attitudes of the present generation.

Galamsey is worse than HIV Aids, robbery and gruesome murder
Yet the law enforcement agencies of Ghana have so far done little to arrest and prosecute it
Yet the Government of Ghana is merely complaining, issuing threats and giving ultimatums
Two weeks or more ultimatum for its actors to stop the illegality whiles lives are perishing
Oh! who will salvage today’s Gold Coast Ghana and her future from this atrocities impunity?

Arise you slumbering citizens of Ghana and protect your Motherland
Enough with the sleeping; enough with the lukewarm; enough of this mockery and nonsense!

WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 13
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO WISDOM PATHS

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment (understanding)” – Proverbs 4:7 (NLT).

*WEEK 13:

Do not ignore God under pretext of making earthly wealth for yourself; you may spend all that wealth on your health in your later days on earth.

Unbelief and lack of respect for a deserving person are rooted in familiarity.

Complaining and rebellion go hand-in-hand and they may cause the unnatural death of their perpetrators.

Great shepherds like Jesus demonstrate their compassion towards their sheep by teaching them and meeting their critical needs.

Carrying out God’s specific instruction is a form of believing and honouring Him and vice versa.

We must always subject our traditions to God’s word since it is easy to substitute God’s commandments with our traditions.

It is easy for a servant of God to disobey Him if that servant is more interested in material rewards or honour of men than obeying God.

WEEKLY WISDOM SERIES 12
A YEAR JOURNEY INTO WISDOM PATHS

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment (understanding)” – Proverbs 4:7 (NLT).

*WEEK 12:

Every secret has an expiry date.

The primary cause of high cost of living in the life of nations and individuals is sin.

God takes keen interest and pride in the affairs of persons who work in His vineyard.

One of the greatest hindrances to fulfilling a person’s God-given purpose is focusing on that person’s reputation.

Central to witnessing about Jesus is telling our friends, neighbours and relations about His compassion and great works towards us.

A person’s ability to overcome a situation depends on that person’s perspective concerning the situation.

Every impossible situation in our lives surrenders to Jesus when we place our belief and faith in Him.

THE 110 MINISTERS: MORE LABOURERS OR MORE JOBS OR KINGS?

THE 110 MINISTERS: MORE LABOURERS OR MORE JOBS OR KINGS?

Kofi: Hello Ama, it’s has been a while.
Ama: You’re right Kofi; we’ve not spoken since the 2016 general elections in Ghana. Come to think of it, despite all the flamboyant political campaign, massive political infrastructure, political blackmailing and dirty propaganda gimmicks; the ruling party lost power to the then main opposition party.

Kofi: Ama, there are times people will only judge you by your character not by your works or gifts. All the things you’ve mentioned could not whitewashed the perceived corruption, abuse of power and political arrogance!
Ama: I hear people are convincing the defeated ex-president to contest the 2020 presidential elections. Do you think he can do any magic in 2020?
Kofi: If he’ll listen to my humble advice, he should not dare! I think he should enjoy his lean statesmanship as a former president and spare himself of needless embarrassments.

Ama: Hey Kofi, the new president has appointed a total of 110 substantive and deputy ministers. The Information Minister says the nature of the tasks the Government needs to surmount requires a battalion of political taskforces. From the so-called invisible taskforces in the Jubilee House to political kings and queens tagged as political appointees such as ministers and deputy ministers.
Kofi: I wish the new government learns from the mistakes of all the previous regimes. It should particularly resist the temptation of pleasing its political cronies and exalting the interests of the ruling party above that of the nation.

Ama: The Information Minister also said the ruling party did not promise a lean government. And that the end justifies the means. That it is better to have a bigger government that is effective and efficient than to have a lean government that loots the resources of the nation.
Kofi: Ama, the ruling government needs not promise us of a lean government. Besides, the needless size of its government cannot be justified by the mistakes of a previous regime. It is not also true that the end justifies the means. I agree with the argument that if the end justifies the means, then this government has no moral right to castigate the previous regime for excessive borrowing. This is because those political borrowing were after all used to undertake some projects such as the so-called massive road construction throughout the country. Do those massive political campaign infrastructure and road networks justify the excessive borrowing? Doing a wrong thing at one hand and a good thing on the other hand does not cancel the wrong committed; the wrong remains unless it is atoned.

Ama: What about the argument that the big size of the government will make it more efficient and effective?
Kofi: Ama, multitudes of resources (be they human or material) do not guarantee effectiveness and efficiency; effectual measures and quality personnel are the factors that do the job. A battalion of thirsty and hungry appointed political cronies adds little to effectiveness and efficiency. Efficiency and effectiveness do not subsist in the quantity of the available human resource but the size of the mind of the right human resource.

Ama: What if all the 110 substantive and deputy ministers are all competent leaders and have many great minds to enhance the growth and development of our nation?
Kofi: Granted that your assumption is true, we should not forget the fact that leadership does not subsist in titles but in towels. Many of such competent and great minds can still use their great minds to serve the nation in their personal or other capacities without serving in any public position. Ghana does no need more political kings and queens but more selfless labourers who are more interested in serving the nation without occupying political and public positions.
Ama: I agree with you, Kofi.
